Greatest netball team since last year – Zara S
As this year’s netball season draws to a close, following some mixed results, shocking umpiring at Culford, a couple of on court arguments (mainly including maisy), and to finish it off with a thrilling 38-31 win against Greshams last Saturday. Seeing as the boys not only copied us, but beat us to it this term, here are Suffolk’s actual finest first team and our Bereals…
Presenting this year’s netball top trumps:
Rosie C (captain)
- Position – GD
- Known for – being too nice to the opposition
- Strength – flying interceptions
- Weakness – contact
- Would rather – be playing GA
Maddy C (the young one)
- Position – GK
- Known for – beefing goal shooters
- Strength – rebounds
- Weakness – year belows
- Would rather – be playing GA
Lydia M (ex centre)
- Position – WD
- Known for – aggression after every shove
- Strength – always backing up teammates
- Weakness – not being able to slow down. Ever
- Would rather – be playing hockey
Izzy P (the twin that replies)
- Position – WD/C
- Known for – hating netball
- Strengths – legs
- Weakness – taste in men
- Would rather – be playing in attack
Maisy H (weekend trip to bondi sands)
- Position – C
- Known for – flooring people
- Strength – stamina & playing an entire match after hockey
- Weakness – attacking other players
- Would rather – Be taking anger management classes
