What A-levels do you take?

“Maths, Geography, and Classics – so quite the mix of equations and essays.”

What is your favourite part of being head girl?

“So far, it’s saying ‘shhh’ in chapel. I’ve only done it twice but hopefully I’ll be more on time to chapel in the future, so will do it more often!”

What has been your favourite year at RHS?

“Year 9 was really fun because our year group was together in Drake due to COVID. Although I’m not sure Mr Platt enjoyed it as much as we did.”

Head Boy:

David A

What A-levels do you take?

“Maths, economics, physics, and further maths.”

What is your favourite part of being head boy?

“I would’ve said the cane but the tie is too clean.”

What has been your favourite year at RHS?

“Probably Y10. First full year in Collingwood: BBQs and steak can’t go wrong.”

Deputy Heads:

Polly F

What inspired you to run for deputy head?

“My sisters were both deputy heads of school, so I was desperate to keep the Fitch legacy going.”

How do you manage the responsibilities that come with your role?

“I try to write down what I need to do in a to-do list, and put that list in the centre of my desk, so that I definitely can’t avoid my tasks.”

What advice would you give to next year’s deputy heads?

“It’s a great opportunity to represent the school, so make sure you’re as smiley as possible!”

Bella P

What A-levels do you take?

“Psychology, Biology, Chemistry “

What is your favourite part of being deputy head?

“I’ve really enjoyed teaching Blake to march.”

What has been your favourite year at RHS?

“My favourite year has been Year 12. I really enjoyed having more free time and being able to see my friends more often.”

What inspired you to run for deputy head?

“Seeing previous deputy heads and the impact that they had.”

What do you find most rewarding about being deputy head?

“Getting to interact with different people and getting to know new people.”

What role do you play in school events/clubs?

“I am Head of Debating, and Captain of the Cross Country team.”

“Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. Maths is my favourite, of course.”

What is your favourite part of being deputy head?

“My favourite part of the role is the breakfast with Mr Latif and Mr Dixon, and then watching flag.

What has been your favourite year at RHS?
“My favourite year was Year 10 because that’s when RHS started to feel the same again after COVID.”
