The official exam REVIEW – Izzy S
Last week was the first week after half term and those of us in Years 11 and 13 it’s been tough having been hit hard with a challenging exam week. Unfortunetly, for the year 11’s they still await their exam results but for some of us in Nelson results are flooding back in . I have decided this week to focus on reviews from my fellow peers regarding their A-level subjects and how they think it went.
Politics 4/10
‘I revised but it turns out I didn’t revise enough, it’s more about applying evidence and I didn’t have enough I could make the points though’
English Lang 5/10
‘ Lets give them the hardest extract we can find’
History (Tudors) 9/10
‘ I have never enjoyed annotating a source so much in an exam! I spent a long time on it but I don’t regret it’
Economics 7/10
‘It was aight’
Chemistry 6/10
‘The multiple choice was real bad but the rest of it was aight’
Business 8/10
‘This is personal preference as I am an odd one who quite enjoys a business exam, most people think I’m mad’
Physics 2/10
‘At least it was better than last time but it couldn’t of gone any worse’
English Lit 5/10
‘ The worst one yet, were the questions even in English?’
DT 8/10
‘I knew the content and the questions, as we had done these questions before’

BTEC Business 7/10
‘Didn’t learn enough for the exam as my teacher talks too much’
Maths 2/10
‘I thought I knew the stuff, I got my exam back and I was very wrong’
Biology 6/10
‘I didn’t do enough revision, lots of the content I didn’t really know, but there were some bits of the exam I think I got full marks though’
