Entertainment Guide – November Edition – Eve H

As the festivities loom near, and everything gets a bit darker, we are all preparing our ears for the famous whistle notes from our queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey. We at the Bubble are focused on giving you the most recent movies perfect for watching under a blanket or with a hot chocolate.

My policeman – 15

Novel-turned–movie, My policeman is a story of lovers that can never be. Starring the talented Mr Harry Styles and the brilliant Emma Corrin, My policeman tells a detailed, personal story of what it is like being gay in the 1950s and the struggles that follow. Available on Prime video on the 4th of November, this is a love story you won’t want to miss.

Enola Holmes 2 – 12

If you enjoy a simple, family movie full of twists and turns, then this is the film for you.

Following the first Netflix original, Enola Holmes (titular sister of the famous Sherlock Holmes) takes her own journey as a private detective. If you enjoy the thrill of a chase or old London (maybe you just love Henry Cavill), then I definitely recommend the watch. With 94% on rotten tomatoes, Netflix’s new frontrunner is available for you on the 4th of November to watch and enjoy.

The watcher – TV-MA

While I wouldn’t recommend our year 7s to watch this one, Netflix’s new TV show is available for those still in the Halloween mood. Based on a true story about a normal family and their strange new neighbour as they move into their new home, this show will make you wonder if you really do know who your next door neighbours are. If you are interested in keeping the spooky spirits up this November, go onto Netflix and give the Watcher a go…

Black Panther: Wakanda forever – PG-13

If you are missing the original Marvel movies as much as I am, then this is the perfect movie for you. Following Black Panther and Avengers: Endgame, this movie is about how Shuri deals with her brother’s death (rest in peace Chadwick) and fights for Wakanda with her family. A tear – jerker and definitely awesome, this movie marks the end of phase four of the MCU so be sure to run to cinemas on the 11th of November.

Everybody stop what you are doing because for the first time in SIX years ( I REPEAT SIX YEARS ) Rihanna has blessed our Spotify playlists with the new song ‘Lift me up’ for the new Black Panther movie.
