Meet the 2026 prefect team – Last edition
This publish will acquaint you with the following prefects: Bea S, Ollie G ,John B, Liya B, Sofiia U, Charlie J, Alice G, Joel M, Ruby R, Albert B, Alistair F and I. This is a fraction of next years prefect team, and are excellent options to reach to for support, guidance and advice. All of the mentioned people are friendly, academically experienced and kind – and would love to help!
Bea S

ALevels: History, Politics and Art
Fun fact: She is especially interested in history and global affairs
Hobbies: Playing netball, going on holiday to explore new places, sewing and designing new clothes
Description: Bea is the oldest of four girls and loves to spend time with her cat, Perdi. Currently, she is in Raleigh house, a sacristan and peer mentor- these roles have helped her to become more responsible and supportive of those around her. Later, she wishes to study International relations at Uni as she’s fascinated by History, Politics and how countries interact around the world.
Ollie G

ALevels: Economics, Maths and Geography
Hobbies: Watching and playing Rugby
Description: Ollie is a keen sportsman who plays First XV rugby and hockey, while also having a passion for economics.
John B

ALevels: History, Politics and Economics
Hobbies: Hanging out with friends, playing football and tennis
Favourite movie: “Get out”
Fun fact: John was at RHS in year 10 for a term and half, then rejoined in year 12 because he loved it so much.
Liya B

ALevels: Art, English language and Maths
Fun fact: Liya can do 180 on a snowboard !
Hobbies: Arts and sewing
Favourite movie: “Little women”
Description: A firm believer in the motto ” having talent is great, but hard work is everything”
Sofiia U

ALevels: Music, Art and Psychology
Fun Fact: She used to do gymnastic and can still do a few very impressive tricks. such as a backbend and the splits !
Hobbies: Sofiia loves to be creative. Some of her favourite creative outlets include music and arts. She plays the piano, sings , paints, dances and does yoga.
Favourite movie: “Pride and Prejudice”
Charlie J

ALevels: History, Politics and Classical Civilisation
Favourite movie: “Oppenheimer”
Description: Charlie joined RHS in year 9 from South Lee ( a small prep school in Bury). He’s been a member of the guard for 3 years and for 2 has playing in goal for the hockey firsts. Also, deputy head of Drake house while also an academic scholar.
Alice G

ALevels: Geography, politics and history
Fun fact: Alice started horse riding before she could walk
Hobbies: Playing hockey, tennis, baking and reading
Favourite movies: “10 things I hate about you” , “How to loose a guy in 10 days” and “Ride like a girl”
Description: Alice joined RHS in year 9 and has since loved being apart of the school community, in particular the boarding and sports groups.
Joel M

ALevels: Psychology, Economics and further maths
Fun fact: He loves monkeys, especially orangutangs and music (his current favourite artist being Drake)
Hobbies: Playing rugby and table tennis, running and reading
Favourite movies: the “Harry Potter’s”
Ruby R

ALevels: Politics, PRE and Sociology
Fun fact: Her great, great, great-grandfatwhe was the Prime minister of England many years ago!
Description: Ruby is a friendly, funny and ambitious person who enjoys learning about society, politics and the world around us. In her free time, she enjoys it with her family and friends.
Favourite movie: “10 things I hate about you”
Angela R

ALevels: Biology, Maths and Chemistry
Fun fact: RHS is my sixth school and here I have been in the chapel choir since year 7
Hobbies: I love to go out with my friends and family, watch movies and listen to music
Description: I am a person who is open to learn new things, meet new people and also happy to help others.
Favourite movie: “Epic”
