Guess who…? Creative Edition – Hebe M

After a painstakingly long wait, the series finally returns, this time with an even broader range of teachers to come. For those of you who have just finished your mocks, hopefully this serves as a small reward. Although, depending on how your exams went, seeing the younger faces of the teachers currently marking them might not be quite so comforting…

Before we move on, let’s save you from the suspense and reveal the answers from last editions’ maths department:

  1. Mr Clare – already sporting fitness attire. It’s never too early to start training for the next cross country.
  2. Mrs Botley – smiling away, perhaps at the thought of teaching current year 12s binomial expansion.
  3. Mrs Hellmann – a very risky outfit colour for a baby…
  4. Mr Corbould – I’m still not entirely sure what’s going on in this picture…
  5. Mr Smith – quite possibly the blondest hair I’ve ever seen (which is saying something coming from me).

For those currently battling coursework deadlines, you may recognise a few more familiar faces in this edition. This week’s focus is entirely on the Creatives, bringing together teachers from Art, DT, Music & Media.

Let’s take a look at this week’s creative babies…

Fun fact, this child will eventually end up in a band (I’ve seen the photos and I was utterly shocked). However, I’ll give you a small hint, these musical talents didn’t exactly make it into their long term career…unless randomly humming in lessons counts.

A child prodigy from birth, apparently. I’m more intrigued by how this baby is able to keep his head and posture so impressively upright at such a young age…

I love the stylish hoodie, could be part of a flashback scene in a coming of age film.

You might not expect this child to eventually go into the military…

Loving the repeated patterns on this dress, clearly someone who understood designs principles early on. Im assuming a template and jig were involved somewhere along the production line…

The colourful front pocket absolutely screams creativity to me. I’m sure it was the perfect place to store a few crayons.

Hopefully these cheerful faces brought a bit of joy to the end of your week, particularly those cramming for exams or buried in coursework. There’s something quite reassuring about seeing that even the teachers we see every day once started out looking just as small and confused as the rest of us.

So do you recognise any of these faces?

Take a guess, compare answers with friends, and see how many you can identify before the next reveal. As always, the answers will be coming in the next edition.

Stay tuned… the series isn’t over yet.
