Guess who…? Maths Edition – Hebe M
As we head into half term, some of you are looking forward to a well-earned rest, while others might be experiencing that familiar last-minute panic as mock revision kicks in. Whatever situation you’re in, your week is about to brighten, as it’s time for another look at baby pictures of your teachers.
Bur first, lets reveal the little Einstein’s of the science department:
- Dr Ryan – possibly being shown a periodic table for the very first time, judging by her excited expression.
- Mr Corby – the most put together child I’ve ever seen.
- Miss Rouse – clearly keen to get involved in physics long before she could talk.
- Mrs Finley – smiling away at the thought of the electromagnetic spectrum.
- Dr Gibbs – I’m still not over that incredible outfit.
This week, I bring you a slightly longer edition from the final of our core departments: Maths. A quick shout out to the department for their overwhelming speed and hope this gave you some enjoyment to get you through the final week of this half term. This also gives you an extra week over half term to figure out who these children grew up to be. Stay tuned next term for further editions, future editions include the creatives and humanities… Have a great half term! with this article – I have never had so many responses within one morning…
Let’s dive in…

First up, we have a young boy sporting a styling football shirt and surrounded by peak 90s toys.

Next, a very smiley girl, bonus points for the adorable pinafore!

Another very smiley baby… perhaps being shown Pythagoras’ theorem for the first time?

This child looks like he’s already defying the laws of gravity.

And finally, saving arguably the best for last, we have a future Hugo Boss model… an inside joke courtesy of my maths class.
I hope this brought you a bit of joy as we approach the end of the half term. You’ve now got an extra week to figure out who these mystery mathematicians are.
Stay tuned next term for more editions, coming up: the Creatives and Humanities…
Have a great half term!
