Staff Through the Keyhole week 4 – Hebe M

With half term having flown by in the blink of an eye and a busy Remembrance weekend now behind us (the band deserve another two week holiday after marching for most of the weekend), what better way to unwind than putting our detective skills to the test with the next edition of: Staff Through the Keyhole.

Last edition proved to be quite the challenge but there was a strong sporting theme running throughout. Therefore it could only have been home to our very own Head of Sport: Mr Platt. Congratulations to Bella, who was first to solve the case.

Now let’s dive into our next mystery home:

We begin with a calming entryway, tastefully decorated. The large artwork framed above immediately catches my eye. A sign of refined artistic taste or is this a talented artist? Also don’t forget the subtle instrument balanced on the right.

This picture sent me on a bit of research of my own. For those curious minds, the magazine spotted is from the Royal Academy of Arts, another possible clue to take in. I also took note of the crisp quality of all these pictures, could that perhaps be a clue in itself?

Now this one’s a complete curve ball. A wide array of technological devices on show here, I admit I wouldn’t have a clue how to use half of these. To reduce confusion, you should ponder the question: does this home belong to multiple members of staff?

Can you tell what type of pet they might own? Once again, were treated to a stunning piece of art on the wall. Rolled up in the corner is perhaps a subtle nod to a sporty hobby.

Finally, perhaps the biggest giveaway of all. An array of hobbies on show here. Could someone be involved in CCF? And is painting a relaxing hobby – or something more serious?

The clues are all there, hidden in plain sight. But can you piece it all together and identify who lives in this mystery home?

If you think you’ve cracked the case, come and find me or send me an email. The first correct answer will earn a shout out in the next edition.
