The Power of One Kind Word – Yeknaz T
In a world filled with obstacles, make someone’s day better by simply choosing to be kind. In my opinion kindness is the true quality that makes us human. Indulging in little acts of kindness is a simple concept, yet so very impactful. You never know the light you might spark in others just through your goodwill and your example. Being good towards others generates positivity within a society and within oneself. People view kindness as a weakness but the act of standing up for someone or helping one out in a difficult time shows bravery and courage. Be kind and be proud.
Happiness and kindness go hand in hand. The reward of kind words and actions is the happiness they cause in others and the happiness they cause in ourselves.
Spreading kindness offers us the opportunity to connect with others, building a stronger sense of community and unity with friends, family, neighbours and even strangers but the most important of them all is knowing that your act of kindness is the reason for someone’s smile. You should know that sometimes kindness is more enriching for the one doing it, than the one you do it for. Be proud of yourself when you choose to spread positivity as you have made the world a better place to live in. There’s power in kindness.
Wake up every day and be so kind that it radiates from you, be so kind that you make someone else find faith in humanity again. You never know the true impact you have on those around you. You never know how much someone needed that smile you gave them, or a word of encouragement. So don’t wait to be kind. Don’t wait for somebody else to be kind first. Don’t wait for better circumstances or for someone to change. Just be kind, because you never know how much someone needs it. Help us fill the world with warmth through your care and affection.
We are humans, and therefore, we make mistakes. We should choose to be kind in our response to ourselves and others when those mistakes occur. This means thinking before speaking, forgiving before seeking revenge, and thinking about long-term relationships instead of short-term pride. If we could all remember that none of us are perfect, we pass along hope; we promote peace; we show the power of kindness.
Let’s change the world through the power of Kindness and compassion. Kindness can make everyone feel better, special, and important. Make sure kindness lies close to your heart.
I’m wishing you all a lifetime full of kindness and compassion. Stay safe.
