No matter how accustomed we have become to staying at home, cabin fever and the lockdown blues are something we are all still currently enduring. Lockdown 3 feels no less demoralising than the past two and it doesn’t always feel like the end is in sight. As motivation and enthusiasm continue to run low, weekly challenges have been a successful way to both pass the time and keep morale high! However, we appreciate that often these challenges ask too much of us and are hard to keep up- who wants to run 5k every day?
This term on the Bubble we hope to inspire a weekly achievement, something not too taxing or demanding, something manageable. Tune in each week to see the task we have chosen and send us pictures of your little wins to keep yourselves motivated, busy and hopefully just to have some fun. It will also be a nice way to keep in touch and share each other’s achievements in what can be an incredibly lonely and isolated time.
This week we challenge everyone to BAKE. Whether it’s cake, cookies, doughnuts, bread or brownies, we want to see what you can bake! It’s not a competition and presentation does not matter. The messier the better! Take some time to relax after school and get baking.
Email the pictures of your bakes to either Freya or Jessie to see them in next week’s article.
