Staff through the Keyhole week 4- Bella P
After a small break thanks to half-term and Year 13 mocks through the keyhole finally returns with another exciting sneak peak into the humble abodes of some of the RHS staff. Hopefully two weeks was plenty of time to analyse last weeks images and lock in your correct answers… or perhaps not.
Congratulations to Mia P and Elise L for being the first to correctly guess the teacher
last weeks mystery teacher was…
Mrs Finley– Hopefully the physics related literature and running awards guided you towards her and the family pictures (which hopefully some of you spotted) confirmed her identity. If you were misled yet again perhaps take this weeks article as a fresh start (or maybe an indicator it’s time to pop down to Specsavers!)
now without further ado let’s peek into a new mystery teachers house

Before exploring the main house let’s pause for a moment to appreciate some room decor, albeit not anything that’s going to be featured in any interiors magazines anytime soon but clearly a small touch to make this persons house feel like a home. I’ve heard that this teacher likes a particular sport but I just can’t quite tell what it is?!

Moving into the living room the sport theme is continuing although in a wild twist is branching out beyond a bicycle (they’re clearly a teacher of many sporting hobbies) although I’m not sure how well the decorations fit together with them ranging from a globe (I wonder how much use this realistically gets other than as an ornament to look at?) to flowery coasters (maybe they simply couldn’t decide on one singular theme?).

It’s definitely safe to say this teacher isn’t getting cold anytime soon, some people (including myself) may view this extensive collection as slightly excessive, realistically how can someone need this many coats? I also have to say I’m not sure what hints they’re trying to drop with the carrier bag in the corner, perhaps just hinting at where there weekly shop of choice is… or the hockey stick stuffed in a boot? (Perhaps a strategic space saving measure?? Or to prevent attention being drawn away from their prized water bottle)

If you’re still clutching at straws by this point in the article hopefully this final image with a plethora of clues can help you narrow down your guesses. I do have to say nice try to this teacher hiding their mess behind the bike but maybe try choosing a spot out of camera shot next time, even their signature shades are at risk of being trampled on. The questionable decorations also continue in this room most notably their upside down lampshade but perhaps that’s a style choice, who am I to judge? It’s also hopefully evident from this that this teacher definitely has a favourite hobby, although I’m not sure whether it’s currently classed as a hobby or whether it’s far too serious to even be associated with the word hobby. I apologise to anyone reading this who I may have offended by my suggestions.
