Unveiling the mystery teacher Staff Through the Keyhole Week 2- Bella P
As I’m sure many of you (or at the very least someone…) is eagerly waiting to finally find out whether your super sleuthing last week was successful or whether maybe you’ll announce your guesses to your friends this week slightly less loudly (I did have a giggle to myself after hearing a few people around school sharing their guesses with one another, some of them ‘slightly’ off track) and more importantly, which teacher you can now compliment (or insult) about their house decor (hopefully the former…).
Last weeks house (correctly guessed first by Alex G, whose guess pinged into my inbox only a few hours after the article went live) belonged to…
Mrs Botley
Some of the hints guiding you to her identity included her prized Emma Bridgewater mugs (including one labelled Mum), her favoruite fairfax and favour footwear hiding beneath her signature coat (top tip if you for any reason wanted to derail half of your lesson with Mrs Botley name drop this brand in conversation or even slyly suggest you’re toying with the idea of buying a pair), and not the last but definitely the most subtle clues were the multiple Texan star memorabilia dotted around her house from her time living in Texas (another great conversation starter to interrupt a lesson)
And now of course it’s time to introduce another mystery teachers humble abode containing some less subtle hints compared to last week…
Starting off with this mystery teachers kitchen area (simple yet stylish) my eyes are first drawn to the brightly coloured coffee machine hiding in the background, who would need to fuel up on coffee in the mornings? (In retrospect this isn’t the best clue, with the long cold days facing us currently which teacher doesn’t need to fuel up on coffee to get through the day?). But this definitely isn’t the only clue and there are some other exotic sights to see…
I’ll start by saving you straining your eyes and tell you that there are in fact no mystery clues hidden beneath the stairs, just an interestingly located alternative to a junk drawer? (maybe it would be worth investing in some organisers… or moving it out of camera shot). But, there are still a few other clues shoeing you the way to this teachers identity.
With the ‘harder’ pictures out of the way hopefully these last few images will help solidify your guesses (assuming you didn’t stop reading after the grand reveal and have been trying to guess). Alongside the inspirational? wall art there are some items of this teachers regular attire (but definitely not their attire all the time…), and a few other items sprinkled around the room which might hint at some of this teachers hobbies (although arguably nothing hinting at their favourite or most commonly known hobby… yet)
Finishing the tour of this mystery teacher’s house with their bedroom, (although hopefully this far through the article they’re no longer a mystery figure) in particular a sneak peak (although not very sneakily hidden) of their bedtime reading material, although I’m not sure what the English department would have to say about its literary value??
Hopefully after inspecting every inch of this mystery teachers house you’ve reached a confident conclusion on who they might be, but of course you’ll have to wait until next week to confirm your hunch. So until then….
