Sixth Form Bachelor

The Bachelor Continued…
As his dates came to a close, George had a final looming decision. The bachelorettes met him on the Dias for the last time to find out which one George would pick to start a relationship with. Before George made his decision, I caught the girls for a quick chat. Kitty said “I really really hope he doesn’t pick me, I didn’t even want to be here.” Ellie was so nervous she couldn’t speak, but it was very clear that she wanted to win. Pippa, who has been quite all week said, “It would be nice to be picked, but I don’t really mind.”

“Thank you all for gathering for the last time. ”George said, “This has been such a special journey and I appreciate all the time you have put in. ”Ellie started tearing up whilst Kitty stood still, unfazed. George continued, “This has been such a difficult decision but the girl I am going to pick is…Ellie!” Ellie screamed and ran at George, nearly knocking him over.

Later I asked the girls how they felt. Kitty claimed she was “Totally fine.” But she had been very salty towards George ever since. Ellie was so happy she went to mess in a white ball gown. Pippa, however, was livid. She fell on the floor, flailing her arms around. Repeatedly screaming “I should’ve won!!” I tried to comfort her, but she nearly knocked my teeth out!

This week’s Bachelor is Emily D !

She describes herself as a nice girl with a fun side.

Her friends describe her as innocent on the outside but a fox on the inside. You think you know her but she’ll surprise you.

She’s looking for someone who is tall, dark and handsome who matches her vibes.

But are any of the following bachelors going to meet her requirements?

Star sign : Gemini

Bachelor number 1 is Oliver D. He takes Economics, Geography and Politics and wants to be just like his favourite teacher, Rob Mann. His type is any girl that will let him take pictures of her. When asked about Emily he said, “She’s in my politics class, but I wish for once we were discussing our spark instead of the constitution.”

Star sign : Capricorn

Bachelor number 2 is Angus W. He takes Geography, Psychology and Business. He wants to be a professional tennis player (and five inches taller). He doesn’t have a type, he’s just looking for a good time. When asked about Emily he said, “I’ve heard she’s a ball girl.”

Star sign : Aquarius

Bachelor number 3 is Samuel C. He takes Geography, Politics and Economics and wants to be the future Prime Minister. His type is brunettes who dye their hair blonde, and when asked about Emily, he said, “I dreamt about her last night.”

Star sign : Leo

Bachelor number 4 is Bertram R. He takes Business and D.T and wants to be a General in the Royal Marines. His type is blondes who loves dogs. When asked about Emily he said, “She’s alright.”

Bachelor number 5 is Benjamin W. He takes English Lit, History and Music and wants to be in an opera. He’s looking for someone who can support him in his musical endeavours. When asked about Emily he said, “Emily and I have known each other since year 7, maybe now she’ll notice me.”

Star sign : Aries

On Monday, each bachelor walked Emily back from her lessons.
The first was Ollie. Conversation started with casual chit-chat about politics and escalated to ‘flanter’ & hand holding.
Angus was awkward to start with, but slowly got more comfortable around her.
Sam tried every trick in the book, used every pick up line, laughed at all her ‘jokes’ and even carried her folders for her. Emily was very impressed.
Bertie and Emily are good friends so the convo flowed very easily. There were a lot of giggles from both parties.
Ben was extremely nervous, so much so he stood her up and hasn’t been able to look Emily in the eyes since.

Back in Wallis, the boys got together for a debrief. Ollie was the first to break the silence, he said, “The great thing about Emily is that she’s got an amazing personality, I literally couldn’t fault her.” Bertie was in agreement. Sam and Angus chipped in sporadically giving their opinions. Ben left after the first 2 minutes crying.
I managed to catch him for a quick chat where I uncovered his true feelings. “I messed up.” He said, “I was so scared to meet her I bailed and now she’ll never notice me!” I got him a packet of Haribos from tuck shop to try and cheer him up, but we both knew he had messed up.

Later that day, Emily had a decision to make, who would she give her 4 roses to. The 5 bachelors lined up on the Dias, all smiling ear to ear, apart from Ben. “Thank you all for coming. It’s been really fun getting to know all of you, but unfortunately I have to make a really difficult decision. The first boy I would like to go on a date with is… Angus!” She also picked Sam and Bertie leaving Ollie and Ben. “This was an extremely challenging decision.” She said, “But the final guy I would like to go on a date with is…Ben!” Ollie was devastated, he burst into tears and started crawling to Emily. “This must be a mistake!” He said, “What about all our flanter! We could’ve been end game!” He said. Emily tried to back away but eventually met the edge of the balcony, Ollie grabbed on to her legs, begging and pleading. I had to call Ben Haywood to come and pick him up. After a lengthy exchange between Ben and Ollie, Ben was finally able to console him and escort him back to Wallis, Emily still in one piece.

On Wednesday, Emily took the boys on dates. She treated Angus to a picnic on the fields where she fed him grapes and he plaited her hair. She went on a brief walk with Bertie, but were spotted by half their year and have both been called ‘Ertie’ since. Her walk with Ben was beyond awkward. They sat on the bench for half an hour whilst Emily tried to ask him questions, he was painfully blunt but at least he managed to look her in the eyes this time. Lastly was her date with Sam. The two decided to have a mess date and sparks were flying, Emily struggled to look at him for more than 3 seconds before she turning bright red.

The five met later in the day to wait for Emily’s final decision. As Emily started talking there was tension in the air. She went on about how nice they all were and how hard the decision was, I’m pretty sure she prepared for this by watching an episode of Love Island beforehand. After the monologue, she made her choice, “The boy I would like to take on another date is…Sam!” She also picked Angus leaving Bertie and Ben. This was an unsurprisingly easy decision. With one more boy to be picked, the tension rises higher …“The last boy I would like to go on a date with is…Bertie!” We all looked at Ben to see if he would finally say something, and he did. “To be honest I’m not bothered.” He said. I saw him the next day and I genuinely believe he’s not.

Friday was the decision day, the remaining boys took Emily on dates. First was Angus, he took Emily to Wallis to play a game of table tennis. It was full of other boys and didn’t smell great, but they both seemed to have a good time. Next was Sam, he took Emily to the bottom of the fields where they made daisy chains. A very simple yet effective date. Last but not least was Bertie, he decided to teach Emily how to play golf. The date ended very quickly after she swung the club, let go, and hit him square in the head. Bertie was not a happy bunny.
As her dates came to a close Emily had a final looming decision. They bachelors met her on the Dias for the final time to find out which one she would pick to start a relationship.

Stayed tuned next week to find out who Emily picks AND who the new Bachelor will be along with the five single bachelorettes who are willing to do anything to get with him !
